You choose how long each venue keeps guest details. A new venue keeps them for 30 days until you change it, and the plan sets the longest you can pick. Guest photos, a Pro feature, are kept for up to 1 year. All prices exclude sales tax.
Why AgeShield costs less
Most ID scanning is priced per device or sold as hardware. AgeShield prices each venue, and the phones your staff already carry do the scanning.
Three devices in the price
Per-device plans charge again for every phone at the door, the bar and the floor. Core covers three devices for $41.58/month billed annually.
No scanners to buy or maintain
Handheld scanners get dropped, need repairs and need software updates when states redesign their licenses. AgeShield runs on the phones and tablets your staff already carry, and improvements to ID reading arrive as regular app updates at no extra cost. If a phone breaks, you set up another one with a sign-in QR code from the hub.
The same checks on both plans
Fake ID checks, the Banned and VIP lists and the audit log are in Core. Pro adds guest photos, custom groups and visit tags. You never pay more for the ID check itself.

Add a device slot for each extra phone scanning at once. On annual billing a slot is $13.86/month on Core or $19.42/month on Pro.

Trial and billing
The trial runs 14 days with Pro features. You add a card at signup and nothing is charged. After the trial each venue pays for its own plan.

Checkout asks for a card and charges $0. You verify your email first, so the reminder emails reach you. AgeShield accepts US-issued cards only.
Cancel anytime
Cancel from Billing in the hub. Cancel before day 14 and you are not charged. On a paid plan the venue keeps working until the end of the period you have paid for, with no refund for the rest of it.
Each venue has its own plan
One venue can be on Core and another on Pro, each with its own subscription and billing cycle. The trial covers your first venue, and venues you add later start on a paid plan.
Pricing questions
What happens when the trial ends?
On day 14 you move to Core Monthly at $49 per month plus applicable sales tax, unless you pick Pro or cancel first. We remind you on days 7, 11 and 13.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. No long-term contract. Cancel from Billing in the hub. Cancel before day 14 and you are not charged.
What does an extra device cost?
Each extra device slot lets one more device scan at the same time. On annual billing a slot is $166.33/year on Core ($13.86/month) or $233/year on Pro ($19.42/month). Month to month it is $16.33/month on Core or $23/month on Pro. You can add up to 20 slots to a venue from Billing in the hub.
Can I switch between Core and Pro?
Yes, with Change plan on the venue in the hub, which shows what will be charged before anything happens. Moving up to Pro, or from monthly to annual billing, applies right away and is prorated. Moving down to Core, or from annual to monthly, starts at your next renewal and charges nothing that day. If the venue keeps guest details for longer than 2 years, moving to Core lowers that setting to 2 years, including for records already stored, and moving back to Pro does not restore it.
How does annual billing work?
You pay once a year: $499/year for Core, which works out to $41.58/month, or $699/year for Pro, $58.25/month. Against twelve monthly payments that saves $89 on Core and $129 on Pro, about 15%. Extra device slots are billed on the same cycle. If you switch from annual to monthly, the monthly plan starts when the paid year ends.
I run more than one venue. How is that billed?
Each venue has its own subscription, plan and billing cycle, so one venue can be on Core and another on Pro. The 14-day trial applies to your first venue only. Venues you add later start on a paid plan.
Do prices include sales tax?
No. Prices on this page exclude sales tax. Stripe calculates any tax due from the billing address on the venue's card at the time of each charge, so the total can differ between venues.
