If this is your first bar, club or restaurant, we will put a discount on your first year of AgeShield. Email sales@ageshield.bar, show us it is your first, and we will sort it out. Same product, same three devices, same checks at the door.
Why we do this
The first year is the one where everything costs more than you planned. The build takes longer, the license takes longer, and the money goes out before a single drink is sold. The door still has to be run properly from the first night, because that is the night an underage guest tries.
A new venue is how a street gets busy again. We would rather help you open with a door you can stand behind than put your liquor license at risk because the software was one more bill. So we take less in year one, and we are glad to.
How it works
Three steps, and none of them involve a sales call unless you want one.

Start your free trial
Sign up for the 14-day trial. It runs with Pro features, and you can have staff scanning the same day.
- Step 2
Email us, and show us it is your first
Write to sales@ageshield.bar with the email address you signed up with, the venue name and the city. Add something simple with your name on it, like the liquor license, the business registration or the lease.
- Step 3
We set up the discount
We find your account by that email address and put the discounted first year on it before your trial ends. After the first year the plan renews at the regular price, and you can cancel before then.

The regular price, for reference
Core is $41.58 a month and Pro is $58.25 a month, billed annually at $499 and $699 a year. Both cover three devices scanning at once, and both exclude sales tax. Your discounted first year comes off that. See what each plan includes
Questions about the first venue discount
How big is the discount?
We set it with you when you write in, because a 40-seat bar opening in one room and a club opening with a full team are not the same problem. Email sales@ageshield.bar and we will come back with a number for your first year. The regular price of Core is $41.58 a month, billed annually at $499 a year, and it covers three devices.
What counts as proof that it is my first venue?
Anything ordinary that ties your name to the venue: the liquor license, the business registration, the lease or the certificate of occupancy. One document is usually enough. We are not asking for financials, and we do not keep the document once we have looked at it.
Do I start the trial first or email first?
Start the trial first. It runs with Pro features for 14 days and needs no discussion with us. Then email sales@ageshield.bar and tell us the email address you signed up with, so we can find your account and set up the discount before your trial ends.
What happens after the first year?
The plan renews at the regular price. We will tell you before that happens, and you can change plan or cancel at any point.
I already run one venue and I am opening another. Does that count?
Not for this one, because it is meant for people opening their first. Write to us anyway. Several venues can sit on one account, each with its own plan and billing, and we would rather talk about what you need than have you guess.
Is this open to anyone in the United States?
AgeShield sells in 46 states and Washington, DC. If you are in one of the states we have not opened yet, tell us and we will let you know when that changes. Eligibility is decided case by case and we may close the program at any time.
One discount per business, on the first year of a first venue, and it cannot be combined with another offer. We decide eligibility case by case and may change or close the program. AgeShield does not give legal advice, and how you run your door stays your call.
